Production positions available at Gadue's Dry Cleaning in Colchester. Monday through Friday hours. 6:00 am to 2:00pm or 6:30am to 2:30pm shift.
You will be working in our dry cleaning plant in a production. This job involves, but not limited - sorting dirty clothes for cleaning; operating dry cleaning and wet cleaning machines; prepping clean clothes for pressing; removing stains, shirt pressing, hand pressing, steam tunnel, item inspection, invoicing, and delivery preparations.
Pay commensurate with experience $17.00 - $19.00.
Good attitude a must!
Experience NOT necessary though, WE WILL TRAIN.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent garment inspection skills
- Ability to identify fabrics, stains, and garment concerns
- Experience with pressing, steaming, spotting, or finishing is a plus
- Ability to operate production equipment safely
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and reliable
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Quality-focused with pride in workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple production areas
