Certified Dental Assistant
Job Description: We are looking for a full-time Certified Dental Assistant for our well established, family owned and operated, 4 dentist general practice located in Albuquerque's NE Heights. We prefer someone who is DANB certified who is able to work in a fast passed office. Applicant must possess a positive, outgoing personality, coupled with exceptional interpersonal verbal and written skills. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn. Previous work experience is recommended but not required. X-ray certification is required.
Job Description:
- Chairside assisting during a variety of procedures
- Dental X-rays
- Quality Impressions and bite registrations
- Set-up and breakdown rooms for each procedure, following proper infection control procedures
- Effective communication with patients, doctors and staff -- verbal and written
- Basic lab work
- Sterilization
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting certification
- Radiology licensure
- Sealant and Coronal polishing certification
- Computer literate
- Dentrix Ascend a plus, but not required
- Punctual and dependable
Salary: $18 - $24/hour DOE
Salary commensurate with experience and skills.
