Job Description Rebar Saw Operator – 2nd Shift Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM – 11:15 PM Schedule: Monday – Friday Arlington, Tx
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Rebar Saw Operator to operate heavy-duty power saws and shearing equipment used to cut steel reinforcing bars (rebar) according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating a sit-down forklift. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy-duty power saws and shearing machinery.
- Cut and process steel reinforcing bars to specified lengths and measurements.
- Safely load, move, and position steel materials.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials as needed.
- Follow production specifications and safety procedures.
- Inspect materials and finished cuts for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating industrial saws, shears, or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Sit-down forklift experience required or strongly preferred.
- Ability to work safely around heavy steel materials and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and follow measurements and production instructions.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned 2nd shift.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving materials.
