About the Role:

The Teen Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational and recreational experiences of teenagers at Bluffton Club. This position is responsible for developing and implementing engaging programs that promote personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills among participants. The Teen Director will work closely with staff, parents, and community partners to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters creativity and self-expression. By providing mentorship and guidance, the Teen Director will help teens navigate challenges and build confidence in their abilities. Ultimately, the goal is to empower young individuals to become active, responsible members of their community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with teenagers in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Experience in program development and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with community resources and youth services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a variety of educational and recreational programs tailored to the interests and needs of teenagers.
  • Supervise and mentor staff and volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to support the teens effectively.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere by promoting respect, teamwork, and open communication among participants.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and assessments, making necessary adjustments to enhance the overall experience.
  • Collaborate with parents, community organizations, and local schools to promote programs and engage more teens.
