Job Description
Primary Role: Lab-based support for hardware validation data collection, deep dive investigations, and subjective image capture coordination.
Must-Have Qualifications:
· Comfortable working from the command line (CMD, terminal, ADB)
· Able to troubleshoot script and tool errors independently (ADB connectivity, Python tracebacks, log interpretation)
· Can follow written test plans and procedures to execute data collection accurately and consistently
· Strong attention to detail — able to review documentation, track test progress, and flag discrepancies
· Self-starter who can independently reach out to cross-functional contacts to unblock issues before escalating
· Clear and timely communication — able to escalate blockers quickly with enough context for others to act
· Comfortable working with lab equipment and hardware (device setup, fixture handling, controlled lighting environments)
· Able to manage and organize large datasets (file naming conventions, folder structures, data transfer)
Nice-to-Have:
· Python scripting experience (data parsing, automation)
· Familiarity with camera systems, imaging, or optical test equipment
· Familiarity with different sensing modalities such as Ambient Light Sensor (ALS), Inertia Measurement Units (IMU), Hal, IR-Prox, etc.
· Experience with data collection in a lab or manufacturing environment
