We are looking for a reliable, sharp, and highly organized Secondary Business Consultant (BC) to help manage daily package delivery operations. In this role, you will act as the right-hand leader to our Primary BC, ensuring our fleet of drivers delivers packages safely, efficiently, and on time.
If you have a strong background in logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Fleet Supervision: Oversee morning dispatch, route assignments, and end-of-day driver check-ins.
- Operational Leadership: Step in as the primary leader when the Primary BC is off-duty, managing the full scope of daily operations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key FedEx performance metrics (service levels, safety, and delivery efficiency) and coach drivers to meet goals.
- Contingency Management: Handle route overloads, truck breakdowns, and unexpected call-outs quickly to minimize service disruptions.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce FedEx Ground safety standards and conduct regular safety training or audits with the driving team.
- Days expected: Sunday through Thursday.
Qualifications & Requirements
- FedEx Experience Preferred: Prior experience as a FedEx driver required must be currently badged and active.
- BC, or manager experience is highly preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and communicate effectively with a diverse team of drivers.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with FedEx software, GPS routing systems, and ground management tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced station environment and step in to drive a route if the need arises.
