ACFM, a Generon IGS company, is a leading Distributor, Authorized Packager and Repair Center for Roots Blowers, Centrifugal Blowers, Regenerative Blowers and Vacuum Pumps located in Northwest Houston. We serve a broad range of applications, including but not limited to wastewater treatment, pneumatic conveying, power generation, and process gases. Our focus is on providing technical expertise, reliable equipment, and responsive service to our customers.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Service & Repair Coordinator to support our Rotating Equipment operations. This role is critical in coordinating service activities, managing repair workflows, and supporting daily operations through accurate order processing.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial blowers (preferably positive displacement blowers) and strong computer skills to manage job orders and purchasing transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate field service schedules and timelines
- Act as primary customer contact for service and repairs
- Evaluate equipment and assist with blower cause of failure reports
- Create and manage daily Sales Orders and Purchase Orders
- Track jobs from intake to completion and delivery
- Source parts and coordinate with vendors
- Work with Sales team. Follow up on quotes and maintain repair quote log
- Maintain service records, job files, and status updates
- Support inventory for service and repair parts
- Assist with proposals working with Service Manager for final review
- Review completed job files prior to invoicing
- Provide job status reporting to management
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience working with Positive Displacement Blowers or similar rotating equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting and cause of failure
- Proficiency with computer systems (ERP systems (QuickBooks), Excel, order entry, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma. 2-5 years plus related job experience.
- Must be able to pass physical, drug screen and background check
- Must have Valid Drivers License & Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred:
- Previous experience in service coordination, inside sales, or repair operations
- Experience with inventory or supply chain processes
