QualDerm Partners is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Esthetician to join our growing team. Our Advanced Practice Esthetician will play a crucial role in delivering advanced aesthetic treatments while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our patients.
In this position, you will utilize your expertise in skin care to perform a wide variety of aesthetics services, focusing on individual patient needs. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct skin assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with patients' goals and skin types.
- Perform advanced aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and various laser treatments.
- Educate patients on skincare regimens, post-care instructions, and product recommendations for optimal results.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatments and consultations.
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the aesthetic field to continuously deliver high-quality services.
- Foster strong relationships with patients, offering compassionate and attentive care.
- Collaborate with dermatologists and other medical professionals to provide cohesive and comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an esthetician with additional certification in advanced aesthetics.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an esthetician in a medical or aesthetics setting.
- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, conditions, and various treatments and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional patient care while achieving desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
