Job DescriptionFood manufacturer in New Holland, PA is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. This would be a direct hire opportunity with the company from day 1! Initial phone screens are being scheduled within 24-48 hours of application!
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all maintenance activities on 2nd shift, ensuring reliable operation of facility systems and production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role plans and implements maintenance programs, provides hands-on technical support with a strong focus on electrical systems, and leads a team of maintenance employees to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Essential Skills
- Five to ten years of progressive maintenance experience in a food processing or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and their application in a food production facility.
- Experience in maintenance management and supervision, including leading, guiding, and coaching maintenance staff.
- Industrial maintenance expertise with hands-on experience working on production equipment and plant utilities.
- Industrial electrical skills, including the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
- Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with maintenance staff and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions that show understanding of technical and operational issues.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting abilities across mechanical and electrical systems.
- High level of attention to detail in planning, documentation, and execution of maintenance tasks.
- Self-motivation and strong safety awareness, consistently promoting and practicing safe work habits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred but not required.
- Previous supervision experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Ability to lead, guide, and coach others to perform at high standards.
- Skill in foreseeing potential problems and developing preventative solutions.
- Ability to motivate team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Comfort working in a structured preventive maintenance program and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
