Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.


Project Scope:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support enterprise Medicaid enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, and document management systems. This role will serve as a system testing specialist within the Systems Applications Integration and Development team and will play a critical role in ensuring application quality, reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare or Medicaid systems, software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, defect management, and quality assurance best practices within enterprise IT environments.


Key Responsibilities:

· Develop detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and QA/User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes

· Translate business requirements and policy documentation into functional test scenarios and test cases

· Design and execute Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, and Negative Testing activities

· Test software applications to ensure reliability, stability, functionality, usability, and performance

· Support UI testing applications and regression automation testing processes

· Participate in quality assessments to identify defects, security vulnerabilities, and optimization opportunities

· Maintain and manage defect tracking databases and coordinate defect resolution efforts

· Collaborate with software development teams, architects, technical resources, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system quality

· Review vendor unit testing, integrated testing plans, and testing results for compliance and quality standards

· Provide guidance on preparing and reviewing test plans, test scripts, scenarios, and testing reports

· Ensure compliance with software testing governance policies, standards, and industry best practices

· Monitor testing progress, identify risks and impediments, and communicate status updates to leadership and project teams

· Participate in walkthroughs, inspections, and governance reviews

· Support Medicaid enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, workflows, and related healthcare systems testing

· Document testing outcomes, feedback, issues, and recommendations for management and stakeholders

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of testing milestones and project objectives


Required Skills & Experience:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent English proficiency

· 5+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios

· 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control

· 3+ years of experience with Sahi Pro and/or Selenium Automation Framework

· Working knowledge of one or more quality/process frameworks such as Spice, TPI, TMMI, CMMI OPF, OPD, or PPQA

· Hands-on experience with formal test design techniques such as Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis

· Experience using test design tools such as PICT or equivalent orthogonal-based testing tools

· Experience creating, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases


Preferred Skills:

· 5+ years of experience supporting large enterprise or e-business systems

· 3+ years of Medicaid or healthcare systems experience

· Strong understanding of healthcare operations and Medicaid business processes

· Experience with X12 standards and HIPAA EDI transactions

· Experience with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence

· Experience working within SDLC Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies

· Familiarity with claims processing, eligibility systems, and healthcare workflowsTechnical

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field OR equivalent professional experience on a year-for-year basis
