Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full-Time | Costa Mesa, CA

Overview:
Provide diagnostic imaging services with a focus on brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures. This role requires efficiency, compassion, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume clinic environment with both pediatric and adult patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform brain SPECT scans and process images daily
  • Prepare patients, start IVs, administer doses
  • Conduct daily camera QC, hot lab duties, constancy checks, surveys, and wipe tests
  • Order isotopes and manage inventory
  • Maintain log books and regulatory documentation
  • Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity, geometry, and accuracy testing

Qualifications:

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (state applicable)
  • Experience with pediatric and adult patients
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Compassionate, patient‐focused approach
  • Familiarity with brain imaging and Picker Prism 3000 system preferred
  • Background check and drug screening required

Work Environment:

  • Indoor, outpatient clinical setting
  • Moderate noise level, temperature‐controlled environment
  • Frequent patient interaction, computer use, and moderate physical activity
