Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full-Time | Costa Mesa, CA
Overview:
Provide diagnostic imaging services with a focus on brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures. This role requires efficiency, compassion, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume clinic environment with both pediatric and adult patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform brain SPECT scans and process images daily
- Prepare patients, start IVs, administer doses
- Conduct daily camera QC, hot lab duties, constancy checks, surveys, and wipe tests
- Order isotopes and manage inventory
- Maintain log books and regulatory documentation
- Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity, geometry, and accuracy testing
Qualifications:
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (state applicable)
- Experience with pediatric and adult patients
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Compassionate, patient‐focused approach
- Familiarity with brain imaging and Picker Prism 3000 system preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
Work Environment:
- Indoor, outpatient clinical setting
