Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated occupational therapist for a contract opportunity supporting students age K–26 in a dynamic educational environment near Clinton Township, MI. This onsite, full-time role offers the chance to make a lasting impact, working 35 hours per week over the course of the school year from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid Michigan OT license (a screenshot of licensure should be provided with the application)
- Prior experience working in school settings
- Expertise in delivering comprehensive OT services to a diverse student population (K–age 26)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and staff
- Comfortable working onsite; this is not a remote or hybrid position
- Please note: COTAs are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based occupational therapy services in compliance with IEPs, federal/state regulations, and school policy
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to optimize student outcomes
- Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
- Provide consultation, training, and support to staff and families as appropriate
