Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Mechanical Assembly Inspector to ensure the quality and precision of our mechanical assemblies and fabricated components. This role involves conducting thorough inspections and verifications to uphold our quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly verification prior to quality verification, including torque checks with red and green paint line marks.
  • Verify completion of wire-pull tests and confirm that all terminals are properly crimped and fully seated.
  • Visually inspect mimic bus installation and placement of assembled, painted components.
  • Conduct dimensional checks, fit and general alignment verification, and visual inspection of welds in cabinets.
  • Identify visible defects according to drawings, procedures, and quality standards, and document and escalate non-conformances per established quality procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience with SAP or similar ERP/Quality systems for warranty claims and documentation.
  • Ability to manage the full quality event lifecycle from inspection to data entry and reporting.
  • Strong experience in electrical/mechanical fabrication.
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and fabrication specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Quality systems (e.g., SAP) for data entry and fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail for precise dimensional checks and identifying surface defects.
  • Strong communication skills to document non-conformances and escalate issues per quality procedures.

Work Environment

Our facility is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable work environment. We offer a full benefits package and operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BROKEN ARROW, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
