Job Title: Litigation Attorney (South Carolina Licensed)

Overview
We are seeking a motivated South Carolina Bar Litigation Attorney
Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategy and development

Draft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal correspondence

Manage cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation

Handle discovery, including drafting requests and responses

Take and defend depositions
-
Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
-
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams
-
Maintain organized and up-to-date case files within a case management system

Collaborate with team members on litigation strategy and dispute resolution
Qualifications

Active Bar admission in South Carolina (required)

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
-
1-3 years of litigation experience preferred (entry-level candidates considered)

Strong legal research skills, with proficiency in tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis

Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Prior experience in a litigation law firm is a plus
