Job Title: CNA – Acute Care
Location: Mariposa, CA
Job Type: Travel/Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day/Night | 5:00 AM–5:30 PM / 5:00 PM–5:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Local Candidates Required: No
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate
Local: $800–$1,000/week
Traveler: $1,000–$1,156/week

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate patient care in an acute-care hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Active California CNA certification.

  • Current AHA BLS certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of CNA experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts.

  • Strong teamwork, organizational, and patient-care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Acute-care or hospital experience.

  • Previous experience working in a critical access hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient care under the direction of nursing staff.

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and mobility.

  • Obtain, record, and report vital signs and other patient information.

  • Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nursing team.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.

  • Follow infection-control, safety, and patient-care procedures.

  • Assist nursing staff with patient-care activities as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

  • Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality.

  • Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach.
