Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automotive Diagnostic Technician (based from your home) to join our growing automotive service team. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills, experience using advanced scan tools, computer skills and the ability to accurately identify and repair complex vehicle issues. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys problem-solving and staying current with automotive technology.
All equipment, tools, service van, cellphone, and a tablet with a 150 Gig data plan and on the job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics on domestic and import vehicles

Perform calibrations for advanced camera and radar systems on newer vehicles

Use OEM equipment and software to perform programming and set up operations

Diagnose drivability issues, check engine lights, ABS, SRS, and electrical systems

Use diagnostic scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to identify faults

Interpret trouble codes, wiring diagrams, and technical service bulletins (TSBs)

Perform repairs related to engine performance, electrical systems, and emissions

Conduct test drives to verify and validate repairs

Clearly document findings, recommendations, and completed work

Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or diagnostic specialist

Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and engine performance

Proficiency with diagnostic software and scan tools

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
- Compensation is based on experience
- Compensation is base salary + commission
