Job DescriptionDescription:
This position is responsible for execution of test procedures, collection of data, and maintenance of test equipment in the support of product quality assurance.
A final test technician conducts tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of products and equipment. They interpret quality standards, engineering diagrams, and product specifications, then execute tests accordingly.
· Operation of test equipment such as, but not limited to:
- Oscilloscopes
- Digital multi-meters
- Micrometers
· Ability to read and understand procedures.
· Ability to learn and use custom test equipment.
· Testing of all subassemblies and final systems to ensure compliance to all system specifications.
· Identifying test equipment that is damaged or does not work correctly through required tracking/build documentation in accordance with approved methods
· Ensure that all products manufactured by Quantic BEI meet or exceed all established quality standards prior to shipping.
· Understand schedule requirements.
· Ensure that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain test support equipment.
· Must be able to follow safety protocols.
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to work independently and within teams.
· Identifying parts that do not align/fit correctly.
· Cosmetic defects
· Identifying procedure errors

U.S. EXPORT CONTROLS

Requirements:
Education:
· Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent training.
Experience:
Military Experience is a plus
· Precision Measurement and Equipment Laboratory experience (PMEL) highly desired
· Calibrations Tech helpful
Other:
· Ability to adapt shift times. Provide overtime coverage and night shift operation.
· Must take ownership of the systems being tested.
· Knowledge of engineering and product design helpful
· A good eye for detail, and the ability to think out of the box.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Corrective lens eyewear to achieve the necessary vision is acceptable.
