The DNA Group is seeking a Program Manager (Journeyman) – Audiovisual (AV) Systems to support our client. In this role, you will provide program-level leadership, coordination, and governance for multiple AV initiatives across DCPS facilities. You will oversee planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution to ensure AV systems are delivered successfully across schools and administrative sites. This is a non-technical, hands-on installation role focused on program management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight.
Overview Requirements:
• Provide program-level oversight and governance for multiple AV initiatives across DCPS facilities
• Coordinate and align AV projects to ensure consistency with program goals, timelines, and funding
• Develop and maintain program plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and reporting structures
• Oversee AV initiatives including classroom technology, conferencing systems, hybrid collaboration tools, and digital signage
• Coordinate across internal DCPS teams, OCTO, facilities staff, vendors, and AV integrators
• Monitor project risks, resource constraints, and cross-program dependencies
• Manage vendor performance and escalate issues related to scope, schedule, or technical delivery
• Support site readiness, testing, and acceptance activities
• Prepare program-level status reports, dashboards, and leadership briefings
• Ensure compliance with District policies, cybersecurity standards, and accessibility requirements
• Support transition of completed AV systems into operations and support teams
• Manage schedules, deliverables, and communications across multiple workstreams
• Facilitate coordination between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure all initiatives align with overall program objectives and operational needs
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 6–10 years of experience in program management, IT infrastructure, or audiovisual (AV) systems environments
• Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in complex environments
• Strong vendor and stakeholder coordination experience
• Solid understanding of AV systems at a program/integration level (audio, video, conferencing, control systems, network dependencies)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing schedules, reporting, documentation, and project deliverables
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, operational environments with competing priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio (for documentation and reporting)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and deliverables
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to work across technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to support execution
• Experience tracking project timelines, costs, and status reporting
• Experience supporting or working with monitoring systems
• Valid driver’s license (required for site travel)
