Job DescriptionHiring Immediately – 2nd Shift Food Production Maintenance Technician – Irving, TX:Inergroup is hiring immediately for 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician jobs in Irving, TX. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery, facilities, etc. used to produce new and existing materials and goods run at maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment. Weekly pay starting at $28 - $31/hr and great benefits available.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance experience
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk throughout production facility
- Previous experience working in food production
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to safely and efficiently maintain and operate the packaging line
- Maintain high-efficiency operations and monitor plant manufacturing controls, gauges and instruments
- Responsible for preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
- Document and create work orders for repair in maintenance information system
- Responsible for mechanical and electrical repairs
- Submits paperwork to ensure backup parts, tools, and equipment are on-hand
