Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications (Highly Desired):
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate): Often a minimum requirement.
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional): Preferred for mid-to-senior roles.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP suite and fundamental networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
- Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, VPNs) and wireless networking.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or Cisco Meraki Cloud).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – critical for troubleshooting complex network issues.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Support WAN technologies, VPNs, and cloud networking integration.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network solutions and maintain network performance.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
