Our client, a global leader in high-volume catering and logistics solutions for the aviation sector, operates at the intersection of precision, quality, and scale. Serving hundreds of airline partners worldwide, this organization ensures seamless delivery of meals and services to millions of passengers annually. As part of a continued commitment to operational excellence, they are seeking a hands-on and strategic Fleet Manager to oversee ground transportation logistics, elevate service reliability, and lead a dynamic team in one of their key U.S. hubs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily fleet operations to ensure safe, timely, and compliant service delivery to airline clients
  • Manage a team of in-house mechanics and drivers, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and operational
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repair workflows to minimize downtime and extend fleet lifespan
  • Ensure all vehicles meet maintenance, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and service teams to improve delivery execution
  • Monitor fleet performance data, including fuel usage, repair costs, and asset utilization, to drive cost savings
  • Lead, train, and support fleet staff to uphold high standards in safety, service, and operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; experience leading in-house maintenance operations preferred
  • Brings proven experience in fleet, logistics, or operations management within a high-volume, time-critical environment
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team supervision and maintenance execution
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset for continuous improvement
  • Has deep knowledge of regulatory and safety standards related to commercial fleet operations
