Rhoades McKee has an exciting new opportunity for a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. What You'll Do
- Partner with our attorneys to keep real estate matters running smoothly - from gathering information to preparing documents and helping coordinate closings.
- Build strong, positive relationships with clients, attorneys, title companies, lenders, and others involved in each transaction.
- Serve as a helpful point of contact for clients and outside counsel, making sure communication is clear and timely.
- Collect and organize due diligence materials, prepare summaries, and help keep everyone informed throughout the process.
- Assist with reviewing title commitments, surveys, and environmental reports.
- Coordinate searches with municipalities and outside vendors and track incoming results.
- Maintain closing checklists, prepare signature packets, and help manage the logistics leading up to closing day.
- Draft routine real estate documents such as resolutions, certificates, affidavits, and other closing deliverables.
- Handle post‑closing tasks like recording documents and assembling closing binders.
- Look for ways to improve processes and support the team's workflow.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
- Prior real estate experience. At least, 5-7 years, preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- Comfort working with technology, including document management tools and e‑recording platforms.
- A team‑oriented mindset and a desire to contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
