Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Test Technician to join our Testing Department. The successful candidate will assist the quality manager in troubleshooting returned equipment and operate button push machines to ensure the optimal performance of steering wheels manufactured for autonomous vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Assist the quality manager with troubleshooting returned equipment.
- Operate button push machines to test steering wheels.
- Report and organize steering wheels after testing.
- Connect consoles to leak test machines to verify correct air pressure.
- Measure the length of caps using calipers to ensure specifications are met.
- Plug consoles into computers, install necessary software, and log inventory.
- Complete the testing process efficiently, typically within 10 minutes.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and machine operation.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Ability to operate testing machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with steering wheels for autonomous vehicles.
- Familiarity with using calipers for measurement.

Work Environment
The position operates within a predominantly Cantonese-speaking work environment. The work involves handling equipment similar in size to a coffee maker and requires attention to detail in a fast-paced, first-shift setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
