Labor & Employment Associate (Mid to Senior-Level)

Location: San Francisco, CA
Compensation: The anticipated compensation range for this position is $310,000 to $420,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Position Overview: An elite, globally recognized law firm is seeking a highly skilled Labor & Employment Associate with five to seven years of experience to join its distinguished practice in San Francisco. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in California employment law and a creative, client-focused approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities: The role will focus on high-stakes employment litigation and counseling. The associate will handle all aspects of single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, including court appearances, depositions, and complex motion practice. A significant portion of the practice involves wage and hour matters and providing strategic counsel to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting a wide range of employment-related documents and conducting due diligence for corporate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
- 5-7 years of employment law experience, preferably with a major AmLaw firm.
- Deep experience in employment litigation is required.
- Proficiency in drafting motions to compel arbitration, discovery, class certification oppositions, and complex settlement agreements.
- Experience with M&A due diligence is a significant plus.
