This role offers the opportunity to work remotely within the U.S., with a preference for candidates in the EST time zone and involves national legal oversight. The position is permanent, providing a chance to influence critical business strategies through legal expertise.

Commercial Counsel Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate a variety of SaaS and vendor agreements, ensuring seamless deal flow and alignment with business objectives.
- Represent the company in negotiations with clients, providing strategic legal advice to secure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate internally to optimize contract workflows and develop standardized templates and playbooks.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Conduct legal research on U.S. digital accessibility laws, providing insights to support compliance and leadership strategies.
Commercial Counsel Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Over 5 years of experience as a corporate or commercial attorney, ideally with SaaS, privacy, or security law focus.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, streamline processes, and mitigate legal risks.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Exceptional contract redlining, legal research, and risk assessment expertise, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
