Kennel Manager
$17.50 per hour pay rate
Our goal at Pet Tree Corners is to offer a fun and relaxing environment to our furry guests. We have served the Peachtree Corners community for over 10 years. Our family-owned pet hotel needs a responsible individual to help manage our wonderful pet hotel and spa.
We are seeking a Pet Hotel (Boarding & Kennel) Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for veterinary management
- Oversee record keeping of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Manage a small team of caretakers and assist with the training of employees
- Work with pet-hotel supervisors to ensure protocols are being followed and staff have the support needed to execute daily tasks
- Review boarding reservations and have great client communication skills
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Able to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 7am-6pm
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Previous management experience preferred
