Alliance Workforce Solutions has partnered with a growing aviation organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their finance team. This role is critical to maintain healthy cash flow through timely and accurate billing, collections, and customer account management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong computer skills, and is proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm
Pay: $25 hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment application, and collections
- Process customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards, wire transfers) and reconcile accounts daily
- Maintain accurate customer records and aging reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Generate and analyze AR reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, aging schedules, etc.)
- Follow up on past-due accounts and work with customers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare monthly AR reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payments
- Assist with general accounting tasks and support the accounting team as needed
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) – must be comfortable navigating, troubleshooting, and running reports
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, charts)
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AR best practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Aviation
- Familiarity with Ramp, JetInsight
- Experience with credit and collections process
Must be able to pass a national background check and drug test.
