Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 5+ years of experience and prior travel assignment history for a 13-week contract.

Details\n

    \n
  • MRI Tech unit within the Radiology/Cardiology department
  • \n

  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
  • \n

  • Rotating on-call one night per week
  • \n

  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • \n

  • Uses GE MRI equipment and PACS system
  • \n

  • Meditech charting system preferred
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Minimum of 5 years of MRI Technologist experience required
  • \n

  • Prior travel assignment experience required
  • \n

  • MRI certification through ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
  • \n

  • ARRT (R) certification preferred
  • \n

  • BLS certification required
  • \n

  • License required if applicable
  • \n

  • Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
  • \n

  • Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
  • \n

  • Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety protocols
  • \n

  • Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
  • \n

  • May assist with training efforts for new employees during the assignment
  • \n

  • Some initial schedule flexibility may be requested by the manager to support training
  • \n

  • Holiday coverage required
  • \n

  • RTO should be kept minimal and must be submitted with candidate profile
  • \n

  • Travel pairs accepted
  • \n

  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • \n

  • Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
