Location: SeaTac, WA 98198 (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ months with possible extension or conversion

Pay range: $115/hr - $124/hr

Schedule: Mon – Fri


Job Overview:
The Project Manager independently provides project management support for small and or medium company projects that involve coordination between various groups both within divisions as well as across divisions. The position contributes by managing projects in accordance with established processes and procedures.

The Project Manager IV is the sole subject matter expert and thought leader in driving the execution and successful delivery of large and/or complex projects supporting initiatives, and in accordance with established standards and best practices. As an individual contributor, this role designs and implements innovative solutions to manage projects to design, develop, and implement new systems and process improvements.

Key Duties
As a subject matter expert in project management, you will apply deep knowledge and use considerable judgement to determine the approach to ambiguous challenges, make decisions and influence across the company.

Required:

  • 4 years of experience in project and/or change management.
  • Experience implementing projects within the air industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to independently manage projects and manage multiple objectives/tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence project outcomes using an analytical approach and instilling a sense of urgency in the project team to complete work on time.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups.
  • Proven success leading project efforts to completion.
  • Ability to identify problems and collaboratively develop alternatives for resolution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Preferred:

  • Experience working with aircraft modification programs
  • Familiarity with airline maintenance practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge to define and develop People Change Management / Business Readiness plans for projects.
  • PMP certification or desire to obtain PMP certification.
  • Experience with MSFT Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Teams or other schedule management and collaboration tools.
