What You'll Do

As the Workforce Development Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee agency-wide talent acquisition efforts to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
• Developing Staff Training Programs: Design and implement professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and leadership pipelines.
• Building Career Pathways: Establish partnerships with local universities and vocational schools to create clear career-path programs.
• Driving Retention Strategies: Analyze retention metrics, conduct exit interviews, and develop workforce engagement plans to improve employee satisfaction and retention.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.
• Experience: At least 5 years of workforce management experience, with a proven track record in recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and inspire teams across multiple locations.
• Analytical Mindset: Expertise in analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.

• Locations: This role will oversee workforce development efforts across various North Carolina cities, including Charlotte, Concord, Salisbury, Kannapolis, Greensboro, Asheville, and more.
