Overview
The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking reliable, professional, and dependable Security Officers to join our team within a behavioral health and substance use treatment facility.
This is not a typical security role. Our facility serves individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring diagnoses. Security Officers work directly in a clinical environment where patients may be in crisis, actively in recovery, or in need of behavioral support.
This role requires individuals who can remain composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and handle real situations with professionalism and control. You are not just monitoring a building — you are helping maintain a safe, structured environment that supports recovery and stability.
Candidates with prior experience in hospital, healthcare, or behavioral health security settings are preferred. There is also a preference for candidates who are currently pursuing or have completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, particularly in criminal justice, behavioral health, or related fields.
At the same time, we remain open to individuals who demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow in this field. Candidates who take pride in their work, show up consistently, and are serious about gaining experience in a healthcare setting are encouraged to apply.

• Provide respectful and professional assistance to patients, staff, and visitors
