Position Description:
The QA Data Compliance Analyst is responsible for collecting, compiling, and reviewing product-related quality and food safety data to ensure compliance with internal requirements and customer specification. This person will provide key quality services and support in the areas of export documentation, commercialization, customer onboarding, and workflow of data and information. This role requires a high attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing demands. This role works closely with QA, Operations, G&I, Shipping, and Customer Service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quality Compliance
- Review, triage, and manage customer complaints into central database. Escalate serious complaints to QA management to ensure completion of investigation and corrective action completion.
- Manage standard documents in customer portals to ensure documentation compliance
- Manage approved supplier master list, request updated supplier audits and documents to ensure documentation compliance.
- Prepare export documentation in accordance with the export policy
- Issue RMA’s for returned products
Support the Commercialization of Miniat products
- Update WinSPC for new and modified products
- Update COA database for new and modified products
- Update Master Product Lists for internal use
- Update Approved supplier master list and distribute to internal teams
- Update and maintain micro/chemistry product files
- Review customer specifications and ensure compliance adherence to internal specifications
- Assists with the execution of product shelf-life studies
- Organizes and ships product samples to third party laboratories and others as needed
Support/Back-up Data Clerk
- Work daily with 3PL storage facilities, shipping, and customer service to ensure products ship with all pertinent information to customers in a timely manner
- Communicate and escalate quality-related concerns which could impact and/or delay shipments
- Review and verify product meets microbiological, chemical, and physical specifications prior to release for shipment
- Place/release product on hold based on microbiological, chemical, and physical attributes
- Conduct product pre-shipment review and release, including signing of designated records
- Create COAs for customers
- Scan physical QA/production records and load into shared file repository and manage physical documents to ensure proper storage and retention
- Review, respond, and react to out-of-specification distribution temperature notifications generated by third-party system

Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent plus years of experience or Technical Degree, required
- 3 – 5 years experience in food manufacturing required, preferably within a QA role
- Able to speak, write, and read English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access
- Working knowledge of product specifications and limits
- Capable of performing basic math and statistics (average, min, max)
