Maintenance Worker
Reports to: VP, Security & Safety Officer; Supervised by Facilities Manager and Officer
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including basic carpentry, basic plumbing, routine HVAC maintenance, cosmetic repairs, equipment assembly, and other repairs as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Performs routine maintenance where needed.
- Assembling and installing new furniture or equipment.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the interior and exterior of facilities.
- Performing inventory on repair supplies.
- Keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organized.
- Completing regulatory training as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Availability for after-hours on-call services
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Well organized and able to work well independently
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing and repair.
- Ability to operate a vehicle and use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of work order/ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of OSHA and ADA requirements
- Valid Driver’s License; able to travel without restriction in Franklin and Hampshire counties.
Education and Experience:
- Two years of maintenance work, preferably in a financial institution or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to work both inside and outside in all elements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Pay is based on related experience, expertise, market data, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Pay Range: $24.32-$34.39/hour (non-exempt)
