As a Technician I, you will be responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform the set-up and testing of complex systems and mechanical assemblies.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
- Follow test process instructions (TPI).
- Determine test specifications, methods, and procedures from the statement of work (SOW).
- Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Perform other tasks including unpacking, packaging, placing labels, and crating as needed.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hardware testing, software installation, and server testing.
- Experience with command line and testing.
- Strong computer skills, including downloading software.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware.
- Knowledge in electronics and Linux C++.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic office applications, such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting or networking computer components and handling.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work on ladders or stools.

You will work across multiple buildings within a large company known for its leadership in the data center solutions industry. The work environment includes standing for long periods, using ear protection in loud areas, and adhering to ESD safety standards. There is substantial room for career growth and advancement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00/hr.
