FedPartners LLC seeks an experienced Senior SQL/Oracle Database Administrator to support the U.S. Government with database development, maintenance, and operational support. The Administrator will provide technical expertise across SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS Access environments—ensuring the performance, availability, and security of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and resolve daily database and cluster issues, including system setups, configuration, and error analysis.
• Respond to Requests for Change (RFCs) and FootPrints tickets related to the Government Book Information System (GBIS) and other supported systems.
• Create, configure, and manage standalone and clustered SQL and Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot database and application integration issues involving SQL, Oracle, Access, or SharePoint.
• Perform routine maintenance, including backups, patching, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with technical teams and end users to optimize workflows and improve database reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in database administration and management.
• Proficiency in: MS SQL Server (including clustered environments), Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS Access.
• Experience creating and managing standalone and clustered databases.
• Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, perform software maintenance, and implement patches.
• Effective communicator capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting federal or enterprise environments preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
