Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligible for certification in Nebraska
- Experience assessing and supporting elementary-age students
- Proficiency conducting evaluations, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating on IEPs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards
- Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement appropriate interventions to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design effective educational plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expert consultation to staff
- Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral support services as needed
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school climate
