Director of Nursing DON -
As a respected leader in the healthcare industry, Shoreline Post Acute seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Nursing DON to oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art facility in Toledo, Ohio.

As the Director of Nursing DON, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction. Your expertise will help drive improved clinical outcomes, patient flow, and staff engagement. Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication

Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, staffing ratios, and nurse engagement

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective discharge planning

Conduct regular quality assessments and develop action plans to address any areas for improvement

Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources

Build and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, patients, and families

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous quality improvement
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a related leadership role

Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
