We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to maintain, fabricate, and troubleshoot various machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to our client's facility's equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond logically and reasonably in emergency situations to assure the safety of all plant personnel
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for all facility equipment
• Execute PM Programs as scheduled
• Report any safety issue or accident to the Production Manager immediately
• Perform repairs on facility equipment and production machines
• Troubleshoots and corrects mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions on all equipment
• Make improvements and recommendations to current operations to enhance efficiency
• Conduct energy usage studies and audits
• Keep equipment spare parts up to date
• Liaising with suppliers on all needed equipment repairs
• Organize and clean workshop daily
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Ability to stand for the entire shift, and lift up to 50 pounds
• 1-2 years of Electrical maintenance experience
• Documentation of all records and needed paperwork
• Strong written and verbal communication to update relevant documentation and share needed information with the manager, peers, and team members
• Ability to analyze and prioritize projects and respond to instructions independently.
• Minimum of 2 years Industrial / Manufacturing setting. Plastics Packaging Industry knowledge A+
