JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Analytics (55%)
- Work with a cross-functional team to define and clarify analytic requirements, develop analysis plans, and ensure data quality standards.
- Analyzing usage, reliability, and hardware data for both Wi-Tronix and customer stakeholders.
- Support customer engagements and product management with business analytics to develop, refine and validate financial ROI models.
- Support cross-functional teams with data visualization.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to assist in the creation of compelling presentations.
Reporting (30%)
- SQL reporting;
- Develop automated reporting to support dynamic dashboard content.
- Transform, analyze, summarize, and proactively report to all stakeholders on website experience and customer utilization of the Wi-Tronix website based on the feature set and page hits.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Data modeling (15 %)
- Uses and physics-based models to extrapolate heuristic vehicle data.
- Interfaces with data scientists and engineers for reasonableness checks on datasets used for model training.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Industrial Engineering, or physics-related field and 5 years of experience with continuous improvement or similar experience in a manufacturing setting.
- In the alternative, a Master’s degree in Math, Industrial Engineering, or a physics-related field and 2 years of experience with continuous improvement or similar experience in a manufacturing setting will also be considered.
- SAFe certification required.
Skills gained through a minimum of 2 months experience and/or college-level coursework as evidenced by transcript and category:
- PostgreSQL / SQL experience – executing complex projects, extracting, cleansing, and manipulating structured and unstructured data sets;
- Use of enterprise visualization tools like Tableau;
- Experience with data analysis and data wrangling;
- Experience in data engineer responsibilities (labeling workflow management of image, video and other data);
- Experience with data visualization;
- Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, macros, PowerPivots ;
- Experience with python programming.
- Safe certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working conditions as found in a typical office location or remote office location.
- Hybrid position-some telecommuting flexibility. Must be able to work from the Bolingbrook, IL office Tuesday through Thursday. May work remotely from home on Monday and Friday.

This position's anticipated base salary is $106,858. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
