Senior Electrical Engineer – Factory Automation
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Base: $100,000–$130,000 + bonus

Own the electrical design of real factory automation systems end to end. You’ll design, integrate, and support PLC-based control systems, industrial networks, robotics, and power distribution used in live production environments.

What you’ll work on
• Electrical design and schematic capture for factory automation systems
• PLC-based control systems, diagnostics, and system integration
• Panels, enclosures, cabling, and industrial safety components
• Cross-functional troubleshooting with mechanical, software, and production teams
• Supporting builds, installs, and system debugging
• Vendor coordination and component selection

What they’re looking for
• 4+ years in factory automation or industrial system integration
• Strong PLC control system design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD / Visio and mechanical CAD tools
• Solid troubleshooting skills in industrial environments
• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have
• Robotics integration
• Industrial Ethernet networks
• Power distribution design

Work setup
Primarily onsite in El Dorado Hills, CA with occasional travel.
