Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Professional Educator License (PEL); must be verified and in hand prior to start
- LBS 1 endorsement (Licensed Behavior Specialist) required
- Previous Special Education teaching experience preferred
- Comfortable working with K-12 populations across diverse educational needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
- Virtual candidates welcome; must be confident with online instruction platforms
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized, and standards-based instruction to students with diverse abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in data-driven decision making
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful classroom climate
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning sessions as needed
