ReelSafe Safety LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented EHS Specialist to join our team in Burnett, TX. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across job sites and facilities
- Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and lead root cause analysis efforts
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees at all levels
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation including OSHA 300 logs
- Collaborate with management and field teams to promote a strong safety culture
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an EHS, HSE, or safety specialist role
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Texas state safety and environmental regulations
- Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
- Strong communication and training skills with the ability to engage diverse teams
- Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OSHA 30 are a plus
- Proficiency in maintaining safety records and preparing compliance reports
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and committed to continuous safety improvement
