Position: Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00–$26.00/hour
Location: Livermore, CA
Areas of Assignment:
Warehouse Associates may be assigned to one or more areas depending on experience and operational needs, including:
- General Assembly
- Welding
- Shipping & Receiving/Material Handling
- Hardware Operation
- Machine Operation
- Grinding
- General Labor
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates to support a variety of manufacturing, production, and warehouse operations. Available assignments may include general assembly, welding, shipping and receiving, material handling, hardware operation, machine operation, grinding, and general labor.
Specific responsibilities will vary based on department and assignment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse, manufacturing, and production duties based on assigned department.
- Assemble parts, components, and materials according to production requirements.
- Operate manufacturing machinery, hardware equipment, grinders, and other production equipment when trained and authorized.
- Perform basic welding or fabrication duties for applicable assignments.
- Receive, inspect, organize, and stage incoming materials and products.
- Prepare materials and finished products for shipping.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the facility.
- Assist with inventory organization and material-handling activities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and appropriately.
- Inspect materials and finished products for visible defects and quality concerns.
- Follow work orders, production instructions, and established operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate production, shipping, receiving, or inventory documentation as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping and safety standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work cooperatively with production, warehouse, quality, and other departments to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform additional warehouse, manufacturing, and general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, assembly, shipping and receiving, material handling, machine operation, welding, or general labor preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred for machine and equipment-related assignments.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools when required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper material-handling procedures.
- Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Willingness to learn and perform different warehouse and manufacturing functions as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive production and warehouse tasks.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the assigned department.
- Ability to safely work around industrial machinery, production equipment, and material-handling equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
Work Environment
- Warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial production environment.
- Work assignments may involve machinery, tools, metal components, shipping and receiving operations, or material handling.
