Job Description

A highly motivated and skilled Application Support Analyst is needed to join our growing IT team. This role provides technical support and troubleshooting for key business applications. Collaboration with end-users, developers, and other IT teams will be required to ensure smooth and efficient application operation.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support to end-users for various business applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user guidance.

2. Log, track, and manage support requests via a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

3. Analyze application issues to identify root causes and implement solutions or workarounds.

4. Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or development teams as needed.

5. Collaborate with development teams to test and deploy application updates and patches.

6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.

7. Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.

8. Participate in application upgrades and implementations.

9. Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.

2. Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in an application support role, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility, ideally in a similar industry or company size.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical users.

5. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and other IT support tools.

6. Solid understanding of application development lifecycle and ITIL framework.

7. Familiarity with database concepts (e.g., SQL) and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

9. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with the company's specific business applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, etc.).

2. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

3. Experience with cloud-based applications and services.

4. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation).
