Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development with an essential role focused on school-based occupational therapy services. This contract position requires an experienced and compassionate therapist prepared to thrive in a school setting.
You’ll be the key professional responsible for conducting in-person assessments for a new student and, should they qualify, delivering individualized therapy services. Your expertise will help shape educational outcomes and ensure the student receives the support necessary to succeed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Ohio
- Experience in school-based OT settings, especially performing student assessments
- Familiarity with current assessment tools and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate care with educational staff
Role Highlights:
- Perform comprehensive, in-person OT evaluations for a single new student
- Determine eligibility for ongoing occupational therapy services based on assessment results
- If qualified, develop and implement targeted intervention plans within the school environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related service providers
