Store Manager - Inclusive Coffee Shop Supporting Adults with IDD

Job Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, flexible, and compassionate leader to manage our coffee shop, the Castle Rock Collective. This individual will play a key role in our mission to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Position Summary
The Collective Store Manager leads daily operations, provides team leadership, and supports strategic growth of the Collectives retail and coffee shop enterprises. They foster a mission-driven culture and ensure the Collective is primarily run by barista staff (adults with I/DD) and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including management of staff, volunteers, and the Coffee Cart Manager.
• Lead marketing, promotions, and budget oversight to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the Art Studio, Bakery, and Print Shop to create new opportunities and revenue streams.
• Provide mentorship and support to staff and volunteers, creating an inclusive, empowering environment.
• Participate in staff and team meetings; implement organizational strategic initiatives.
• Represent Wellspring Community and World Orphans to the public, partners, and stakeholders.
• Promote ethical decision-making and uphold Wellsprings mission and core values.
• Partner with other business managers to ensure a collaborative, integrated community presence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Work Opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail or a related field preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with coffee shop equipment and POS systems is a plus.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and operate a computer.
• Must provide personal transportation for offsite meetings.
• Work is performed in a retail/coffee shop environment with basic safety precautions.
  
  

Position Status
Full-time, based in Castle Rock. Schedule is: 8:00 AM4:00 PM/Monday - Friday. Reports to the Director of Business Ops.
