The DNA Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineering Administrator (Azure/D365/Oracle) to support enterprise-level initiatives across government systems.

This role requires deep expertise in Azure data services, Dynamics 365/Dataverse, legacy Oracle environments, SQL development, data pipelines, and business intelligence. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of enterprise data, design scalable pipelines, enforce privacy and governance standards, and support mission-critical reporting and analytics operations.

Overview Requirements:

• Provide Dataverse data management support including schema integrity, TDS endpoint configuration, data extraction, query development, and backup/restore operations.

• Design, monitor, and troubleshoot secure, scalable data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and performance monitoring.

• Manage Synapse Analytics workspaces, including Dataverse Link, dedicated SQL pools, and serverless SQLs with advanced query optimization for high-volume reporting workloads.

• Configure and maintain Power BI workspaces, datasets, gateways, and row-level security permissions.

• Develop and refine SQL queries to support operational, compliance, and audit reporting, including log analysis.

• Build and maintain reusable Python scripts for parsing structured/unstructured datasets, automation, and data enrichment.

• Develop and maintain secure data replication tools to sync Dynamics data to Synapse Analytics (Managed/Dedicated/Serverless pools and API endpoints).

• Manage and maintain legacy Oracle databases including data integrity, availability, and backup processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data mapping and transformation needs, ensuring alignment with program and compliance objectives.

• Lead and coordinate activities of Data Analysts and Reporting Engineers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of recurring reporting tasks.

• Perform data profiling, validation, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate quality issues.

• Define, enforce, and document data migration standards, governance policies, and technical artifacts for replication, architecture, and error handling.

• Provide technical training and guidance to program and QA staff, including data extraction and reporting support.

• Stay current with Azure, Dynamics 365, BI, and data management trends to enhance system efficiency and governance practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

• Oracle Database management and administration experience: 15 years (Required)

• Advanced SQL Query Development: 15 years (Required)

• Database security administration, including row-level security: 15 years (Required)

• Database Replication expertise, including replication scheduling, schema/table change detection, and validation results: 15 years (Required)

• Health and Human Services Data Model experience: 15 years (Required)

• Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and document technical artifacts: 11 years (Required)

• Produce Data Model and Schema/Table link diagrams: 11 years (Required)

• Azure Data Services management (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics): 2 years (Required)

• Power BI Workspace Administration and Dashboard Development: 1 year (Required)

• Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals Certification: 1 month (Required)

• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Certification: 1 month (Highly Desired)

• Python scripting knowledge: 2 years (Highly Desired)
