Ready to get off the service truck without leaving the HVAC trade?
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician who is interested in transitioning into a full-time HVAC Instructor role. Use your real-world experience to train and mentor the next generation of HVAC professionals.
No prior teaching experience required — paid instructor training is provided.
What You'll Do
- Provide classroom and hands-on HVAC instruction.
- Demonstrate HVAC service, troubleshooting, tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Mentor and coach students as they develop technical skills.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and competency.
- Help prepare students for graduation and careers in the HVAC industry.
- Maintain accurate student records and required documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of professional HVAC experience.
- Current Massachusetts Oil Burner Certificate.
- Strong HVAC service and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Residential and commercial HVAC experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in teaching and mentoring others.
- Must successfully complete required background screening.
Experience training apprentices, mentoring new technicians, leading a team, or explaining technical issues to customers is highly valuable.
Schedule Options
Day: Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Evening: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
