Wound Care Nurse (LVN) - Avir at Pearland
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Avir at Pearland, a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Wound Care Nurse (LVN) is a vital role in our continuum of care, requiring a skilled and empathetic nurse who can provide expert wound care management to patients in our Pearland, TX location.
Responsibilities:

Assess patients' wound care needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote healing, prevent infection, and alleviate pain

Conduct wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and irrigation

Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care

Educate patients and their families on wound care and prevention techniques

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and streamline processes
Requirements:

Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas

Minimum 0 years of experience in wound care or related field

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
