Precise Personnel is now hiring Stagers for the city of Jurupa Valley!
UP TO DATE RESUME REQUIRED. THIS IS TEMP-TO-HIRE,
Currently, we need 3 Stagers in Shipping - 2 spots for the graveyard shift and 1 spot for the swing shift. The schedules are as follows:
Graveyard Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am, Sunday and Monday off, Thursday and Friday off.
Swing Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Position Scope:
The Stager is responsible for preparing and organizing ingredients, materials, and products for production lines. This role ensures that items are correctly staged for efficient production, follows strict safety and quality guidelines, and works closely with production operators to maintain a steady workflow. The Stager plays an essential part in supporting the production process, allowing for smooth transitions and reducing downtime.
Essential Duties:
- Organize and Stage Materials: Collect, prepare, and stage raw ingredients, packaging materials, and other necessary items for production runs.
- Monitor Inventory Levels: Track ingredient and material quantities, notifying management of low stock levels and assisting in replenishment as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all items staged meet quality standards, are free of contaminants, and are within expiration guidelines.
- Communication with Production Teams: Coordinate with production line operators to adjust staging as needed to meet production demands.
- Documentation and Labeling: Accurately label all staged items and maintain proper documentation to support inventory control and traceability.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized staging area, ensuring all items are stored safely and in accordance with guidelines.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all food safety, quality, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Secondary Duties:
1. Assist in end-of-shift cleanup and replenishment for the following shift.
2. Support team with other general duties in production as needed.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a production or staging role preferred.
- Understanding of food safety standards and staging processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
5. Good organizational skills to manage multiple materials and keep staging areas orderly.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and prolonged standing.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with production teams.
